Er. Dinesh Kumar Ghimire is a senior Civil Engineer and public infrastructure leader who has been planning, directing, and supervising large-scale public works across Nepal since 2002, currently serving as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management under the Gandaki Province Government. His strong academic background features a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in the First Division from Tribhuvan University, an M.Sc. in Construction Management from Pokhara University—where he earned a 3.85 CGPA and inclusion on the Dean's List—and current doctoral research as a Ph.D. student in Development Studies at Pokhara University aimed at advancing sustainable, evidence-based infrastructure policy. A distinguished professional in his field, Er. Ghimire received the prestigious Martyr Engineer Nawaraj Bista Memorial Award from the Nepal Engineers Association (NEA) in 2026 in recognition of his significant contributions to engineering leadership and public service.
